What Are The Basic Things In Photography

There has been a lot of change in the techniques and equipments in the photography field since 1980. Most of the changes have been to the main equipment and that is the camera itself. Even though the technology has changed a lot the techniques for filming images are still the same. You have to understand and master the basic tricks for using a camera so that you can point and click at thing view ending up with high quality images.

To start with photography you have to learn to use a camera so study the basic settings of your own camera. There are many difference between cameras of the same makes so you should spend some time learning the working of your camera from manuals and user interfaces. Once the camera is fully understood then it is time to move on to the basic principles that apply to all photographers when aiming to produce a good image.

1. All photographs will have a theme to shoot some excellent photographs. You photos should convey some message to the viewer like a story. The idea or emotion you have in your front should be portrayed without missing the essence to the viewers.
2. You should build around the central concept so that several photos can be shot to display the theme perfectly to the viewers taking them along your with your story.
3. A good image is one that works on simplicity. The photos you are taking should be within the theme, do not deviate from your story for the sake of techniques and quality. distractions are common in the photographs but you can easily avoid them with little bit of care in the beginning later it will became a habit. You should develop the characteristic to capture only those things that are needed within your frame and theme.

Once the operation of the camera and the three basic principles are fully understood there is really only one course of action left for the basics. Every time a photographer points the camera to take an image ask these three simple questions.

1. What is the theme or message that I am trying to achieve here.
2. Focal length should be planned in advance so that you can place your camera in the right position.
3. The frame should be composed that only the elements that are required within the photo is present. The non essential parts and distracting elements should be discarded from the picture. Have I given myself a good clean clear simplified image that conveys my story.
