Some tips For Anyone Looking To buy A New camera

There are a lot of different digital cameras on the market right now, which makes choosing the best one a lot more difficult. Something else which is making it really hard to pick a new camera is that you can no longer just compare each model side by side and look at which one has the most megapixels or the biggest memory card etc because nearly every camera has more than enough megapixels now and you can buy bigger memory cards anytime you want. Instead you now have to compare a big list of complicated features to try and decipher which ones offers the best value for money.

Let's cut through all the fluff though and below are the only 4 things I think you should be looking for in your new camera:

Metal case: This is pretty standard now I know, but you have to be careful if you look at cheaper models that they don't try to give you a plastic case, they just aren't as durable and you want a camera that is going to last. It also makes the camera look so much more classy and expensive, and you don't have to have boring colors anymore, you can get metal cases in pretty much any color you want now, even pink as you can see on BestPinkDigitalCamera.net.

Anti-motion blur: Without doubt this is the most important thing you can look for. When you are having fun and messing around then your hand might not be too steady when you take the picture, but the last thing you want is to get back home and find out the pictures are a blurry unrecognizable mess. To save yourself that hassle then this feature works to compensate for any shaking of your hands and makes sure you take a picture that is in focus. It can only do so much though so if you are running with the camera etc then don't expect it to be able to cope with that.

video: Taking pictures and video of your holiday is nice and helps you to remember the good times you had, but if you have to carry around two different pieces of equipment to do that then it quickly turns into a nuisance. You will find a lot of digital cameras nowadays though have the ability to record video as well. The sound on it won't be fantastic as it only has a small microphone to record with, but if you just want to take some nice video to savor the moment then this is a huge bonus to have this option.

Intelligent Automatic Mode: If you enjoy messing around with your camera to get the best shots then you are happy to fiddle with all the settings each time you want to take a photo. For the rest of us though, that is far too much hassle every time we want to take a quick picture, and we would probably use the wrong settings anyway. That is why an auto mode is essential and the latest auto modes are even more intelligent, they recognize the type of scene you are taking, the lighting conditions, if people are present in the shot and much more, and then is adjusts all the settings for you to help you take the best shot. That means you can leave the camera to do all the hard work and you can just concentrate on having fun and taking pictures!
